Back in 1983 I saw for the first and only time the Rock-A-Fire Explosion at Showbiz Pizza. I never forgot the singing gorilla. Then FJ McLoud made it known to me that the RAE was still around on You-Tube today, For over a year I had checked Ebay daily for someone selling one of the highly collectible 1980's plushies of "Fatz Geronimo", the gorilla keyboardist. Once in a great while one would come up for auction and the bids would go WAY past my limits. But it looks like the bidders were sleeping this time! Fatz is now mine FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!



Aaron Fechter, the creater of Showbiz & the RAE, lives & works his magic in Orlando, FL. Next time I go home, I'm getting a pic with the REAL thing!! There's talk of a kid's animated show about the RAE coming soon, so I need to meet Aaron & Fatz before they get so popular they'll be inaccessible!
