The Jackson 5 Christmas album I listened to all year round, and drove my parents crazy. "I'll be there" was heard on my maid's car radio when I went with her on errands. "Dancin' Machine" was on our jukebox in the gameroom.  His harmonizing with his own voice on "Off the Wall" I never heard anything like before. I used to impersonate him at Karaoke bars in the 90's and people said "Man, I gotta shake your hand, that's the best MJ impersonation I ever heard!" 
I never got to meet him or even get relatively close to him. All I wanted was to meet him and say "Please don't die! The world will never recover if you go before your time!" Another regret to add to my long list of regrets. Go ahead and call me crazy, I don't care. Will he even have a chance of going to Heaven?
