Things went SOOOOOO much better than last year, but then last year was our first time at this gig and we had to learn things the hard way. Our position in the parade couldn't have been better as far as I'm concerned...a "Jazzcat" band in front of us, and classic cars behind! Weather cooperated too, with high temps in Piedmont only around 71. Super Jayhawk deserves a great deal of praise for being the anchor(along with Terraluna) of the whole parade logistics, as well as firing up the grill the next day at his place for those who marched/helped out in the parade. 37 Pounds of meat, including a 14-pound ribeye! NOM!
